John Phillips,\u00a0<\/strong>ONE WAY Golf Coach <\/strong><\/p>\n

John Phillips has been a member of the Professional Golfers of America (PGA) for almost 30 years. He started his career in Minnesota before coming back home to the Houston area and serving as Head Golf Professional at The Woodlands County Club, Golf Professional at Shadow Hawk Golf Club and Director of Golf at Houston Oaks. His is currently a Golf Instructor at Summit Golf School and a certified ONE Way Golf coach, understanding the importance of not only the technical aspect of the golf swing but also the importance of having a strong mental game.<\/p>\n

John has extensive teaching experience with golfers of all ages and skill levels, including beginners through professionals. In 2001, he was presented the Southern Texas PGA\u2019s Eastern Chapter Junior Golf Leader Award. John has competed in multiple Minnesota and Texas State Opens, and in 2010, he qualified and competed in the Club Professional National Championship in French Lick, Indiana.<\/p>\n

Through his teaching, John brings a process-oriented approach to elevate one\u2019s mental preparation to take his\/her game to the next level. He is currently working with high school golf teams, and collegiate and high school players.<\/p>\n<\/div>
